L Sealers

L-sealers are a type of sealing machine used primarily for shrink wrapping products. They get their name from the L-shaped sealing configuration—a straight sealing bar on one side and another perpendicular bar that together form an “L” shape. These machines are widely used in packaging applications for retail, food, electronics, books, and more.

1. Product is placed in center-folded shrink film (usually polyolefin or PVC).

2. The L-shaped sealing bar comes down to seal and cut the film around the product.

3. The product is then moved—manually or automatically—into a heat tunnel, where the film shrinks tightly around it.

1. Manual L-Sealers

   • Operator places the product and activates the sealing.

   • Ideal for low to medium-volume operations.

2. Semi-Automatic L-Sealers

   • Product feed or sealing may be automated.

   • Better for medium-volume packaging.

3. Fully Automatic L-Sealers

   • Automatic feeding, sealing, and sometimes shrink wrapping.

   • High-speed production lines.
